Hands-on AI lesson with facilitator guiding Singapore learners

Course 01

AI Foundations — Getting Started with Everyday AI

This opening course builds AI literacy for Singapore residents who are new to generative AI. You will set up ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini safely, understand privacy basics under Singapore PDPA habits, and complete your first guided prompts for everyday AI tasks — summarising articles, drafting polite messages and organising notes. Facilitators demonstrate how each tool handles context differently so you can choose the right AI for documents, email and quick research. Sessions include pair exercises in our Shenton Way studio and optional online classes for upskilling at your own pace between cohort meetings.

Format: 2 weeks · Cohort or self-paced · Max 14 learners

Course 02

Practical AI for Work — Documents, Email & Reports

Move from experimentation to reliable AI-assisted work. This course focuses on AI for documents and email — turning rough notes into structured reports, polishing client correspondence and producing meeting summaries with Copilot and Claude. You will practise AI writing support workflows that save time while keeping your voice, learn to attach reference files correctly, and apply AI automation to repetitive formatting tasks. Singapore professionals in admin, operations, marketing and client-facing roles find this module especially useful. Every exercise emphasises verifying AI output before sending — a core workplace AI skill for the Singapore market.

Course 03

Prompt Writing & Getting Better AI Answers

Generic prompts produce generic results. This prompt-writing lesson teaches you to write clear instructions, supply useful context and iterate when generative AI misses the mark. You will study AI use cases across roles — HR screening questions, sales outreach, project updates and internal briefs — and build a personal prompt library you can reuse. Facilitators introduce chain-of-thought patterns, role framing and output formats that improve AI output quality without needing technical coding skills. Hands-on training includes peer review in small groups and facilitator feedback on your toughest real-work scenarios from Singapore office life.

Course 04

AI Productivity Habits for Busy Professionals

Busy Singapore professionals need systems, not one-off tricks. This course designs repeatable AI habits — morning inbox triage with Copilot, weekly report templates with Claude, and lightweight AI workflows that fit between meetings. You will map your current tasks, identify safe automation candidates and build checklists for responsible AI use before anything leaves your desk. The module covers calendar summaries, action-item extraction and AI productivity routines that respect confidentiality. Cohort learning keeps you accountable; alumni share how they maintain these habits after the course ends.

Course 05

Responsible & Safe AI Use — Checking the Output

Confident with AI means knowing when not to trust it. This responsible-AI module teaches verification techniques — cross-checking facts, spotting hallucinations, reviewing bias in drafts and understanding limits of generative AI for regulated or sensitive topics. Singapore learners practise red-team prompts, compare outputs across ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude and Gemini, and document review steps suitable for workplace policies. We discuss what AI tools must never decide alone: legal commitments, medical choices, financial transactions and HR disciplinary actions. You leave with a personal safety checklist aligned to vocational training standards, not professional certification.

Capstone — Your Everyday AI Skills Project

The capstone project integrates everything from the learn-AI track into one portfolio piece. Choose a real workplace or personal productivity challenge — perhaps a report workflow, a client onboarding pack or a team knowledge base — and build it using AI tools under facilitator guidance. You will present your AI workflows, document how you verify output and reflect on responsible AI use throughout. Presentations happen in our evening studio sessions; peers and facilitators give constructive feedback. Completion earns a participation certificate only — not accreditation, not a job guarantee — but a concrete demonstration that you are confident with AI in everyday Singapore work contexts.
