Effective date: 1 July 2026 · Document version 1.0
Overview
AI Learn SG Pte. Ltd. ("AI Learn SG", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore. This policy describes what data we collect through ailearnsg.one and our vocational AI skills training services, why we collect it, how long we keep it, the safeguards we apply, and the choices available to you as a Singapore learner, website visitor or corporate client contact.
By using our website, submitting an enquiry form, enrolling in a course or attending a studio session at our Shenton Way learning studio, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. Where we require consent under the PDPA, we obtain it through explicit opt-in mechanisms — never through pre-ticked checkboxes on contact or enrolment forms.

Categories of personal data collected
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identity and contact data: full name, email address, telephone number, postal address, company name and job title when provided in forms or enrolment documents.
- Enrolment and course data: course selections, cohort dates, attendance records, assignment submissions used for facilitator feedback, capstone project descriptions and completion status.
- Payment references: transaction identifiers, invoice numbers and payment method type. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; payments are processed by third-party payment providers.
- Communication content: messages you send via contact forms, email or alumni forums, including questions about AI tools, schedules and corporate training requirements.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, session duration, referral URLs and cookie identifiers as described in our Cookie Policy.
- Consent and preference records: PDPA form consent timestamps, cookie banner choices stored locally for six months, marketing opt-in or opt-out preferences where applicable.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as national identification numbers, health records or financial account credentials through our public website forms. Please do not submit such information in free-text message fields.
Purposes of collection and use
We process personal data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the context of vocational AI skills training. These purposes include:
- Responding to website enquiries, course guide requests and corporate AI training quotes submitted through ailearnsg.one or email.
- Processing enrolments, scheduling cohort sessions at our CBD learning studio, delivering in-person and online classes, and issuing participation certificates.
- Providing facilitator feedback on prompt-writing exercises, capstone projects and skills review sessions during hands-on training.
- Invoicing, payment reconciliation, tax compliance and maintaining records required under Singapore accounting and corporate law.
- Operating alumni Q&A forums and service-related communications about schedule changes, new course dates or policy updates.
- Website analytics to improve navigation, accessibility and content relevance for Singapore learners, subject to cookie consent where required.
- Fraud prevention, security monitoring, enforcement of our terms, and protection of our legitimate business interests including dispute resolution.
- Internal quality improvement using anonymised or aggregated learning analytics where individual identification is removed.
We will not use your personal data for purposes incompatible with those listed above without notifying you and, where the PDPA requires, obtaining your consent.
Consent and legal bases
Our primary legal basis for marketing and non-essential analytics is consent. Contact forms include a mandatory consent_pdpa checkbox that is not pre-checked; submission without ticking this box is rejected by our form handler. Cookie preferences are collected through our banner offering Accept all, Reject all or Customise options, with choices stored on your device for six months before the banner reappears.
For enrolled learners, processing necessary to perform the training contract — including attendance tracking, delivery of course materials and certificate issuance — may rely on contractual necessity in addition to consent. You may withdraw consent for optional processing by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted before withdrawal and may limit our ability to provide non-essential communications or optional analytics.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We may disclose data to trusted third parties who assist us in operating our business, subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations:
- Cloud hosting and email delivery providers maintaining ailearnsg.one and enquiry inboxes.
- Payment processors handling SGD course fee transactions.
- Video conferencing platforms used for online classes when you join a session.
- Analytics vendors processing anonymised visit statistics when you accept analytics cookies.
- Professional advisers including accountants and legal counsel where required.
- Government or regulatory authorities when compelled by applicable Singapore law.
Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we take steps required under the PDPA to ensure recipients provide a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA, including contractual clauses or verification of applicable certification frameworks.
Retention periods
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law:
- Unconverted website enquiries: up to 24 months from last contact, then deletion or anonymisation.
- Enrolled learner records: duration of enrolment plus seven years for accounting, tax and dispute limitation purposes.
- Consent logs and cookie preference records: consent period plus three years for audit evidence.
- Aggregated analytics: up to 26 months; raw server logs retained for shorter periods where operationally feasible.
- Alumni forum posts: while your account remains active plus 12 months after last login unless you request earlier deletion.
When retention periods expire, we securely delete or irreversibly anonymise personal data.
Your rights under the PDPA
Subject to exceptions under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access: request confirmation of whether we hold personal data about you and obtain a copy of that data.
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent for purposes based on consent, understanding that this may affect service delivery.
- Portability: where applicable, request transfer of data you provided in a structured, commonly used format.
Submit requests to [email protected] with sufficient information to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days unless an extension is permitted under the PDPA. A reasonable fee may apply for manifestly unfounded or excessive access requests.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the PDPA, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) of Singapore:

Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and local storage as described in the Cookie Policy. Essential cookies support security and form operation. Optional analytics and marketing cookies are disabled until you accept them through our banner. You may change preferences at any time by clearing site data or revisiting the cookie controls described in the Cookie Policy.
Security measures
We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we hold, including HTTPS encryption for website traffic, access controls for internal systems, staff confidentiality obligations and secure disposal procedures. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; while we strive to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach likely to result in significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the PDPC where required under Singapore law.
Children and minors
Our courses are primarily designed for working adults and students aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided data without appropriate consent, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Third-party AI tools in class
During courses we demonstrate third-party AI platforms (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini) operated by external providers with their own privacy policies. When you create accounts or submit prompts to those tools, their terms and privacy policies apply independently. We advise learners not to paste confidential employer or personal sensitive data into public AI tools without appropriate authorisation.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or business changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will seek fresh consent for new processing purposes. Previous versions may be requested by emailing [email protected].

Facilitators and administrative staff review enrolment and support requests. AI tools demonstrated in courses are operated by learners under human supervision; we do not profile website visitors for automated admission or pricing decisions.
